Blogging_: enable categories in your blog
Yes, you can have proper categories in your Blogger blog. Just 5 minutes of tweaking needed. For the step-by-step instructions, see this excellent post by netcf2.

I have made a category solution for my blog, that presents the blogger search in my own design. It's a little irky to set up compared to netcf2, but once that is done it is super easy to set up new categories (see the righthand menu), and most important is that the user stays in you blog.

One cool thing I found out recently is that I can use one of the Delicious bookmarklets for blogthis to insert tags that link back to my own site, and still be indexed by technorati, making it pretty complete.
I hope technorati will add a search that lets me limit a search on their site to indexed posts on my site, that way I could have even more control.
